As of today, 19 May, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in South Africa stands at 17 200.

488 609 tests have been conducted to date with 13 538 done in the last 24-hours.

The total number of recoveries from Covid-19 now stands at 7 960.

  • Free State – 168
  • Gauteng – 2 361
  • KwaZulu-Natal – 1 616
  • Limpopo – 94
  • Mpumalanga – 78
  • North West – 72
  • Northern Cape – 37
  • Western Cape – 10 639
