Watch out for hospital job scam

The Brits District Hospital has expressed its concern about a job scam that is currently robbing unsuspecting people of money.

“It has come to the management’s attention that there is an unscrupulous person that goes by the name of Mr Kobe and sometime Mr Mokoena who poses as a recruiter and offers drivers posts allegedly available at Brits Hospital. He has used the www recruitment web and Facebook to lure the unsuspecting public,” spokesperson Tshepo Mokono.

”We urge all the job seekers to report to the police if they encounter any person who claims to be a recruiter for posts at Brits Hospital. It is alleged that this Mr Kobe or Mr Mokoena will ask about R620 upfront to secure a position at Brits Hospital. The Brits Hospital currently has no vacancies. Once vacant posts are available, the Department of Health will advertise vacancies and nobody is expected to pay,” he said.
