MCS starts seedbank tradition

The Mountain Cambridge School, in conjunction with the Margaret Roberts Herbal Centre, has started a new environment tradition at the school – the Margaret Roberts seedbank. Grade 8 and 12 pupils have locked a letter and a packet of seeds, for themselves, away at the school, to be opened in 10 years’ time by the matrics at their 10 year reunion, and in 5 years’ time for the Grade 8s when they leave school at the end of Grade 12. On the photo is Sandy Roberts of the Margaret Roberts Herbal Centre with two of the matric pupils before locking away their seeds.
