Some 1 567 new infections were recorded on Tuesday and 149 more people have died.
South Africa now has 613 017 confirmed Covid-19 cases, the Department of Health announced on Tuesday.
This is an increase of 1 567 new infections from Monday, Pretoria Rekord reports.
There were 149 more deaths recorded, bringing the total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the country to 13 308.
According to data released by the Department of Health, 520 381 recoveries have been recorded to date.
In total, 3 578 836 Covid-19 tests have been conducted.
The following confirmed Covid-19 cases have been detected in each province, according to the data released on Tuesday:
- Western Cape: 10 4781 cases
- Gauteng: 206 892 cases
- KwaZulu-Natal: 110 521 cases
- Eastern Cape: 85 311 cases
- Limpopo: 12 703 cases
- Mpumalanga: 23 336 cases
- North West: 24 445 cases
- Northern Cape: 9 375 cases
- Free State: 35 603 cases
- The department reported 50 unallocated cases.
