Betway partnered with the Sunshine Tour earlier this year and sponsored the Betway Championship. The Rise-Up Series which lasted for two months ran between August and September earlier this year and consisted of a total of five tournaments. The series was created to help restore and bring much needed relief that was experienced by the halting of the sport earlier this year. The relief was aimed at groundsmen, caddies, players and the people behind the scenes whose livelihoods were affected. Betway also made donations in their commitment to the development of the sport in various communities through their #BetwayCares CSR programme. The Sunshine tour will be teeing off again on the 5th of February 2021 at the Houghton Golf club in the R1 million Kit Kat Invitational.
