Mediclinic Brits this week expressed their deepest appreciation to the members of the community for their continued support during the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular the members of Doxa Deo Church who recently delivered items in appreciation of the staff at the hospital.
“We recognise that our staff are on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic and the community coming forward to assist and support offers valuable encouragement and inspiration for all those delivering care in our hospital,” says Mario van der Westhuizen, Hospital General Manager of Mediclinic Brits. “It is truly heartwarming to see how the greater community has come together and provided not only support but encouragement, donations, understanding and patience as we endeavour to serve the community during challenging times.”
Mediclinic Brits continues to encourage members of the public to adhere to national guidelines on social distancing, the use of masks in public and safe hygiene practices. Minimising transmission remains a key factor in managing the effects of the pandemic and everyone needs to play their part in preventing further spread.
