HAWS is presenting the Howdy Cowboy Dance on Saturday, 20 November, at the lovely Millstream River Estate to raise funds for the animal welfare association. There will be good food and entertainment to help shake off those Covid blues of the past 18 months.
Tickets are R250 per person. The event starts at 17:00 with sundowners while enjoying the lovely view and music. Join HAWS and bring your friends for a great night.
“HAWS would like to take this opportunity to send a very big thank you to every one of our friends out there for giving so generously to our animal shelter throughout the past year. All your donations of funds, pet food, and/or books for our charity shop have helped us get through another year. For everyone in South Africa, it has been a tough 18 months of Covid waves and restrictions, so we would like to end the year off with a fun-filled fund-raising event,” said HAWS chairman, Linda Spencer-Coye.
“If you are not able to attend but would like to make a donation to HAWS, we would be so grateful as we need all the help we can get to see us through the rest of the year. Our coffers are dangerously low, and we have the tough December/January holiday period to get through. It is this time of year that we always see a huge intake of lost and abandoned animals that we need to feed and take care of. Your donations would help to feed, shelter and care for them until we can reunite them with their families or find new caring homes for them.”
