Hartbeespoort community policing forum spokesperson, Romano van der Spuy has warned motorists to be extra vigilant in the light of the increasing car thefts.
“The festive season is here and we can expect more attempts. Park your car in a safe place and when in public places, ensure you park near where security officers and car guards are on guard. Do not leave valuables in the car. This is an invitation for thieves. Don’t park in dark places and preferably where there are lots of people around.”
