Police search for killer after woman’s body is found in bushes

The Hebron Police are investigating cases of murder and attempted murder after a 42-year-old woman’s body was found in the bushes along with her injured boyfriend.

Passers-by found the lifeless bodies of the woman and her boyfriend in bushes at Hebron near Brits on 30 December and alerted the police.

“Police members discovered the man was still alive and summoned the ambulance. It was established that both victims had gunshot wounds on their upper bodies. At this stage, the motive for this incident is still unknown and no arrests have been made,” said police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Amanda Funani.
