If you love animals and you don’t mind getting wet and dirty, join the Hartbeespoort Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) on Saturday to help give all their dogs and cats a bath before winter.
Wear your old clothes, and grab an old towel and some doggy shampoo and be at HAWS between 09:00 and 14:00 to give the forgotten animals in their care a well-deserved treat.
HAWS will have books and jumble on sale for the folks who prefer to potter around while their children work their magic with the dogs. Or pack a picnic basket and come and share the love with the animals.
