Eskom first implemented stage 2 load-shedding on Sunday.

Eskom announced on Tuesday morning that stage 4 load-shedding would be implemented from 07:20.
The power utility said it was forced to implement a higher stage of load-shedding after units at both Majuba and Tutuka power stations had tripped.
Eskom said its group chief executive, André de Ruyter, would hold a media briefing on Tuesday morning in which the power utility’s management team will provide an update on the challenges it was experiencing.
Load-shedding was first implemented over the Easter weekend on Sunday.
