Cableway open again

    The Cableway closed after experienced a technical breakdown on 22 July 2017. At the time 125 people had to be rescued from the top of the Magalies Mountain.

    In a statement Iain Gunn of the Cableway said that the shutdown period not only included maintenance to the cable cars and all the mechanical equipment, but also involved the replacement of a new rope in line with the Cableway’s targets to achieve the highest safety standards.

    The Cableway will be open from the 9th October 2017 for normal business. Please contact their information office on 012 253 9910 for any further information.
