Another body was found in the Hartbeespoort Dam on Saturday.
Police spokesperson, Cst Ben Moabi said the body of an unknown man was found by police divers on Saturday morning. “The body has not yet been identified.”
Arthur Crewe of the NSRI Hartbeespoort said the team responded to a call on Saturday morning of a body floating in the Lakeland area. “Together with the police, the body was recovered,” he said.
Moabi said the police request anyone who may know of missing persons, or may be related to the deceased, to contact Hartbeespoortdam police Detective Sergeant Kofi Mogatwe at 082 416 2715.
In August 2023 the bodies of three family members were also found in the dam. Larry Nyambuya’s body was found on Wednesday morning, 30 August 2023, exactly two weeks after the discovery of the bodies of his mother, Noster Sibanda (29), and five-year-old sister Lazell Nyambuya, on 16 August. The little girl was tied to her mother’s back.
