This restaurant/guesthouse/spa and conference centre located in rural Rietfontein has become a popular tourist attraction over weekends, offering visitors a place to “de-stress”, as manager Precious Marole promises.
Area 51 boasts an upscale restaurant with a comprehensive menu for all tastes, an elegant VIP lounge, 12 quaint chalets for overnight visitors, a fully-equipped conference centre, spa and hair salon/barber.
For those who prefer a more informal outing, there is an outdoor buy-and-braai area where you can relax with friends while preparing your own feast over a fire.
“We offer everything for a good time out. It is a one-stop-service to escape from busy city life,” says Precious. “Our food is great, we pride ourselves on our service and all we want is for visitors to enjoy themselves. This is the place to be in Hartbeespoort!”
Area 51 presents popular entertainment from Thursday to Sunday. Come and have fun during the karaoke nights on Thursdays, or listen to soul sessions, live music and music by well-known radio DJs over the weekend.
