A Takealot delivery vehicle was robbed of its contents when armed robbers stormed the vehicle in Schoemansville on Wednesday morning.

According to security footage, the driver had stopped in Karel Street to deliver a package at 10:27 when two armed men in a Volkswagen Polo stopped a short distance behind the delivery vehicle. They grabbed the driver who had gotten out to enter the property and held him at gunpoint while transferring packages from the delivery vehicle to their car. They then sped off four minutes later.

The driver was not injured, and a case of armed robbery was opened at the Hartbeespoort police station.
