Four armed robbers stormed Pep stores at Sediba Plaza on Friday morning and held staff at gunpoint while robbing the store.

“The four armed robbers, wearing masks and black hoodies, entered the shop at around 10:00, pulled out a firearm and told the staff to be quiet and stay still as it is an armed robbery. They were held at gunpoint while the robbers took phones and cash from the till,” said Romano van der Spuy, spokesperson for the Hartbeespoort community policing forum.

“According to the staff at another shop at the centre, the robbers fled in white and silver Volkswagen Polos. One was a woman.”

Hartbeespoort police were on the scene soon after the robbery and are looking for the robbers.
