Employer in court for alleged sexual assault of employees

A 45-year-old man appeared in the Brits Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 23 November, for alleged sexual assault of two of his former employees.

According to police spokesperson, Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone, Moses Seokane (45) from Jericho allegedly sexually assaulted an employee at the business premises in October, and another while travelling in his car a week later.

Seokane was released on R1 000 bail and will appear again in court on Wednesday, 10 February 2021. The police investigation continues.

The District Commissioner of Bojanala Platinum Sub-District 1, Major General Modisagaarekwe Mosimanegape condemned the incidents and congratulated the Brits Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit for bringing to book the alleged perpetrators of crimes against women and children.
