Two well-known Hartbeespoort rugby referees were acknowledged for their contribution to Blue Bulls rugby during the annual Blue Bulls year-end function last week.

Werner Nagel received a trophy for his 20 years’ contribution as a referee and an honourary Blue Bulls referee jacket for his service on the Blue Bull Exco Committee.

Elanie Oberholzer received the award for ‘Most valuable 4th division Blue Bulls referee’. She blew the whistle at the recent women’s final. Congratulations to these two dedicated people!
