The Hartbeespoort Animal Welfare Association (HAWS) this week assisted VulPro, the vulture rehabilitation centre in Hartbeespoort with blood collection from pied crows and the endangered Cape Vulture. This will help researchers understand how lead poisoning affects these endangered animals in an attempt to ensure the species’ survival.
