With the recent influx of puppies at the Hartbeespoort Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) shelter, HAWS is in urgent need of dog and puppy food. Their food supply is almost depleted and community members and animal lovers are requested to please donate food or make a monetary donation to help feed the animals in their care. The shelter currently has over 20 puppies that were handed over or abandoned. If you are looking for a pet, please consider HAWS first. These animals urgently need homes.
Dog and puppy food can be dropped off at the HAWS food container at the entrance of Pick n Pay Village Mall, Tannie Slaai in Schoemansville, or at the HAWS Book Shop at the Ifafi Business Centre.
