The Harteespoort Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) food stocks are very low and the busiest months of the year are ahead.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, HAWS could this year not host its two main fundraising events, namely the Golf Day and Christmas Dance, and funds are running low. “We are once again appealing to all our generous supporters to assist with food to see us through these challenging months. December and January always see an influx of lost animals as well as owner-handovers. We will be most grateful for any food donations. These can be placed in the HAWS bins at Pick ‘n Pay at the Village Mall, or at the Spar at the Islands Mall. Monetary donations are also very welcome.
