The first Africa kickboxing continental games was held in South Africa from 27-28 of August in Benoni where South Africa and nine other countries participated.

The kickboxers are Cornelius Grobler (silver), Alexander Mans (2 silver), Rovaun Harrington (gold), Schalk McCarthy (gold and silver), Franco Dippenaar (2 gold), Jordan Nelson (gold), Nix du Plessis (gold), Christopher Wood (gold and silver), and Inge Joubert (silver).

Nine Red Dragon students of Hartbeespoort competed and returned home with seven gold and seven silver medals.
