Security and law enforcement officers, as well as neighbourhood safety organisations were seen in numbers on Monday in Brits and Hartbeespoort after threats of a countrywide shutdown.

In Hartbeespoort members of security agencies and neighbourhood watches assembled in Scott Street at the Police Station in a show of solidarity with the police. Patrols were done throughout the town to ensure safety and security of the community.
In Brits, security structures, police and community safety structures did the same. The Crocodile Commuinity Protection Group did a mass patrol to ensure the safety of the community and businesses.
The group dispersed and patrolled through the town to ensure safety and security for our communities.
A big thank you to all those whom participated. Your support is indeed appreciated.
