Ron Stirk

Two local pilots dominated the South African Landing Championship that was held in Brits and Stellenbosch simultaneously last weekend, taking first and second places.
Ron Stirk landed the win with Dale De Klerk in second place.
During the championship, a pilot has to do four landings, namely a normal landing, forced landing where flaps, spoilers and sideslip may be used at the discretion of the pilot, forced landing without flaps, and a normal landing over an obstacle.
