A 42-year-old man died after his car plunged into the Hartbeespoort Dam on Friday.
Hartbeespoort NSRI and police divers retrieved the body of Ivic Rabogale from Pretoria on Friday morning.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Sam Tselanyane, a search was initiated after Rabogale’s vehicle was spotted in the dam in the early hours of Friday morning. The car plunged down the embankment into the dam close to the dam wall.
“It is not known when the incident happened. Police have opened an inquest docket,” Tselanyane said.
