A 23-year-old man was arrested by the police for the alleged murder of a 31-year-old man at a tavern in Oukasie on Sunday.

Police spokesperson, Maria Nkabinde said according to information there was a quarrel between the suspect and Peter Manyuba (31). The suspect fatally stabbed Manyuba in the chest.

“ He was rushed to a local hospital in Brits by his brother, but he was certified dead upon arrival,” she said.

The suspect will appear in court on a murder charge.

The District Commissioner of Bojanala, Major General Modisagaarekwe Mosimanegape, said police work hard to arrest those perpetrating crimes and ensure that they are brought to book.
