The Mountain Cambridge School (MCS) drum majorettes recently competed in the Federation of Dance Drill, Cheerleading and Majorette Sport South Africa National Championships 2024, their first national participation!

The drummies were placed 8th in the Senior non-prop group and 11th in the senior pom group. “We are extremely proud of The Mountain Cambridge School drum majorettes who have shown great tenacity and grit. They pushed through challenging circumstances being a new team and came out on top with some amazing results,” the school said.
“A special thank you to our coach Cindy du Plessis, and to the most dedicated drummie mummy out there, dr Kate Tucker. Also a huge shout-out to our biggest supporter and most efficient coordinator Courtenay Millar as well as all our dedicated parents.”
