The Mountain Cambridge School raised R25 000 to assist promising swimmer and learner, Christiaan van Eeden (16) in taking part in the Commonwealth Games in Windsor, Canada this month.
“We are thrilled to share Christiaan’s incredible journey. He is set to represent the National Presidents team at the upcoming games. Through the unity of our community, Christiaan’s dream is becoming a reality,” the school said. “
With overwhelming response and contributions from various sources, the school raised R25000 towards his R75000 goal!
“A heartfelt shout-out to everyone who bought goodie boxes, made donations, and offered words of support. Your belief in Christiaan’s journey and our community warms our hearts. As we eagerly await the Commonwealth Games, let’s continue backing Christiaan with unwavering enthusiasm. Together, we’re making dreams come true,” the school said.
