Ten learners of the Mountain Cambridge School in the primary and high school participated in the nationals of the Interschools Public Speaking League.

Congratulations to the following learners in the Top Ten in South Africa: Troye Smith – Grade 11, Ketu Manemela – Grade 10, Nicola Olivier – Grade 8, Oratilwe Komape – Grade 7, Tobias Olivier – Grade 6, Deandrae Roets – Grade 5, Amelie van Staden – Grade 3, and Pono Sebuelo – Grade 1.

The Interschools Public Speaking League is one of the biggest publicsSpeaking competitions in South Africa. “This is an outstanding achievement as we as a school competed against some of the country’s best schools.Fifty-seven schools participated this year,” the school said.

Kgwerano Komape is the National Winner and Kgalalelo Komape took third place.

“We are thankful that our school can say that we can compete in public speaking and stand out. Tiny but mighty!”
