Jarco Erasmus, a pupil of Meerhof School received a very special birthday present. This little boy has a keen interest in ambulances and when the Hartbeespoort Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) heard of his interest, they surprised Jarco with a visit to the school, his own HEMS T-shirt and a ride in the ambulance for his 12th birthday. With Jarco is HEMS paramedic, Jerry Bouwer. Definitely a birthday Jarco will not forget soon! Happy birthday Jarco.
