During successful police operations in Letlhabile, Hebron and Klipgat last weekend, 68 suspects were arrested, one of them a wanted suspect linked to a murder case near Hebron.

Police in Letlhabile, Hebron and Klipgat took part in a police operation during which 68 people were arrested.

During the operations, 32 suspects were apprehended for drinking in public, 17 for dealing in liquor without a license, eight for use of dagga in public and two for dealing in drugs.

“The apprehended suspects were released upon paying a fine,” said police spokesperson, Maria Nkabinde.

The murder suspect, Mojalefa Segoatlhe(30) appeared before the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrates’ court on Monday, 26 October 2020, for the alleged murder. He was remanded in custody and will be appearing again before the same court on Wednesday, 4 November 2020 for formal bail application. “Investigation into the matter continues.”
