Police in Hebron close to Brits have launched a manhunt to find the murderers of two people who were shot and killed at a local tavern on Sunday.
According to police spokesperson, Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone, two unknown men entered the tavern and went into the female toilets. They were escorted out and directed to the male toilets. “On return from the toilets, they approached patrons and one of them allegedly fired shots hitting one male and two females. Godknows Kgopane (39) and Portia Manale (38) died instantly on the scene while another female was rushed to hospital for medical treatment. The suspects fled the scene on foot and are still at large,” he said.
The motive of the killings is unknown and investigation into the murders continues.
