More than a 100 police officers, North West traffic officials and officials of the Department of Home Affairs descended on Hartbeespoort on Monday to conduct a crime prevention operation in the Hartbeespoort area.

The force gathered at Village Mall and from there dispersed to various crime hotspots to address criminal offences. The group was led by the district commander, General Mosimanegape.
“We thank General Mosimanegape for arranging this remarkable police presence in our town which will have a positive effect on criminal activities,” said Hartbeespoort Community Policing Forum chairman, Romano van der Spuy.
Various arrests were made.
