Vulture hide goes camo

Members of Rotary club of Brits Hartbeespoort, WESSA NAR and Birdlife Harties got together at Van Gaalens Cheese Farm last weeekend to paint the new vulture hide in camo colours, in preparation for moving to a permanent spot at the Nyoka Ridge Vulture Restaurant in Skeerpoort.

The hide has been slowly fitted out by the club members over the last few years which will result in a state of the art facility when completed. This specially designed hide for photography will hopefully be open before end December.

The hide will cater for both photographers and bird enthusiasts. There will be a charge to utilise this facility once it is up and running. Watch this space for more information.
