The Wales rugby team arrived in South Africa on Friday, a week ahead of their first test against the Springboks this weekend, and one of the first things they did was get up close and personal with wildlife at the Lion & Safari Park in Broederstroom.

The players were photographed at the park in close contact with giraffes, but they stayed far away from the lions.
Wales tackles the Springboks on Loftus Versfeld on Saturday in front of approximately 48 000 spectators for the start of the Castle Lager Incoming Series. This will be the most spectators ever at this venue.
The game kicks off at 17:05. Look out for Kormorant’s rugby test calender in this week’s paper.
