For a quick stir-fry, use sausages. They’re the time-saving hack you’ve been waiting for. And it tastes great!

21 APRIL - WFD - Sausage and veggie stir fry

Serves 4

You’ll need: 500 grams McCain Garden Mix; 800g sausages; olive oil; 2 teaspoons dried thyme; 1 cup chicken stock; 3 teaspoons tabasco sauce; chopped parsley; salt and pepper to taste.

How to: 

In a pan, brown the sausages and remove from the pan.

Once cooled slice the sausages. To the same pan, add the dried thyme and the McCain Garden Mix.

Toss and then add the chicken stock and chilli sauce and allow cook for 10 minutes until reduced.

Add the sausages back to the pan and allow the flavours to amalgamate.

Garnish with chopped parsley.
