The Xanadu Private School was officially launched last week and the management is looking forward to quality education, as well as sport.

Formerly the PLG Hartbeespoort Academy, PLG Schools’ contract with the Doxa Deo Educational Trust came to an end in February 2020 and the company declined the option to buy the school. “Doxa Deo Educational Trust took over the school on 1 July. We are very excited to announce the launch of our new school as Xanadu Private School. It is a dual-medium co-educational Christian-centered private school in the beautiful Xanadu Eco Park,” said headmaster, Phillip de Bruyn.

“Our aim is to encourage each pupil to reach their fullest potential academically, to develop to their highest level of sporting excellence, and also to nurture a third important area – the spiritual aspect. Our slogan is ‘Rooted in Faith’.”

De Bruyn said through the school’s capable teachers, who are handpicked, and its excellent academic and sporting facilities, Xanadu Private School will enhance the holistic development of children. “This includes refinement and development of communication skills, self-discipline and respect for themselves, their peers and the environment they live in.”

The Xanadu Private School is owned and managed by the Doxa Deo Educational Trust. It offers private school education with smaller classes at more affordable fees.

“Doxa Deo’s aim is to see the school realise the dream and potential it was built for, to serve the Hartbeespoort community and to change this town through Christ-centred education. School fees will be reinvested in the school, to develop the facilities, academically, culturally and on the sport front.
