Car burst into flames in head-on collision
Two people were injured when a car burst into flames during a head-on collision near the Hartbeespoort Dam wall on Friday.
The two vehicles collided early morning near the Department of Water and Sanitation offices adjacent to the dam wall. Hartbeespoort Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) was on the scene soon after and extinguished the fire.
“The motorist in the car that burst into flames was not injured. Two people in the other vehicle were transported to the hospital with some injuries,” said HEMS spokesperson Leandre Spies.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
