1. Introduction

This Request for Offers (RFO) invites interested parties to submit offers for the purchase of a used modular jungle gym system. The jungle gym is currently installed on-site in a security estate at Hartbeespoortdam, and is being sold as-is. The system is in good condition, suitable for playgrounds, schools, or recreational facilities. This RFO outlines the specifications, conditions of sale, and submission requirements.

2. Item Description

• Type: Modular jungle gym system, designed for children aged 3-12 years.

• Components: Includes climbing frames, slides, swings, monkey bars, bridges, and platforms. The system is modular, allowing for reconfiguration or expansion.

• Material: Constructed from durable, weather-resistant steel with powder-coated finish and plastic elements

• Dimensions: Approximately 13m x 8m x 3m height

• Age/Condition: Installed 5 years ago; regularly maintained with no major structural issues. Minor wear from usage.

• Accessories: Excludes the underlying concrete slab and rubberized surface.

Photos can be provided to serious bidders.

3. Conditions of Sale

• Buyer Responsibilities: The successful buyer must disassemble the jungle gym at their own expense and remove it from the site. Disassembly must be conducted safely and without damage to surrounding property.

• Site Access: Access to the site will be coordinated with the seller. The site is located in Broederstroom, North West province.

• Excluded Items: The existing concrete slab foundation with rubberized surfacing will remain on-site and is not included in the sale. The buyer is not required to remove or alter these.

• Payment Terms: Full payment required upon acceptance of offer, prior to disassembly. Payment via EFT.

• Transfer of Ownership: Ownership transfers upon full payment and removal from site. No warranties or guarantees are provided beyond the current condition.

• Inspection: Interested parties may request an on-site inspection by appointment. Contact the issuer for scheduling.

• Liability: The buyer assumes all liability for disassembly, transportation, and reinstallation.

4. Offer Submission Requirements

• Format: Offers should be submitted in writing via email to gm@islandsestate.co.za with the subject line “Offer for Modular Jungle Gym Sale.”

• Content: Include:

 Buyer’s full name, contact details, and organization (if applicable).

 Offered purchase price (in ZAR, inclusive of VAT if applicable).

 Proposed timeline for disassembly and removal.

• Evaluation Criteria: Offers will be evaluated based on:

 Price (highest offer preferred).

 Feasibility of removal plan.

• Multiple Offers: The seller reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any offer. This is not an auction; the highest or most suitable offer will be selected.

5. Timeline

• RFO Release Date: February 12, 2026.

• Inspection Requests Due: February 17, 2026

• Offer Submission Deadline: February 20, 2026

• Decision Notification: Within 7 days of deadline.

• Removal Completion: Within 14 days of acceptance.

6. General Terms

• This RFO does not constitute a binding contract until an offer is accepted in writing.

• All offers must comply with South African laws and regulations.

• The seller reserves the right to cancel or amend this RFO at any time.
