The Hartbeespoort Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) treated and sterilised over 40 dogs from the Ten Rooms township this week, thanks to a fundraising project by The Mountain Cambridge School’s matrics.

The HAWS team on Monday visited the township and dewormed, vaccinated and treated dogs that needed medical help. Over 40 dogs were loaded and taken to HAWS’ clinic, where they were sterilised on Tuesday and returned to their owners.
“A heartfelt thank you to The Mountain Cambridge School’s matrics who gave us the opportunity to sterilise these pets. The need is so great,” HAWS said.
If anyone wishes to contribute to such an outreach, donations can be made into HAWS’ bank account: Standard Bank, account number 033183074, with reference ‘Outreach’.
HAWS currently also urgently needs dog food donations. Please drop off food at HAWS’ Book Nook and shop at Dreiers Centre, Tannie Slaai in Schoemansville or at Absolute Pets in Village Mall.
Please help feed the shelter animals this festive season.
