Beatriz Vicente Dos Santos from The Mountain Cambridge School showcased her martial arts prowess at the JKA Northwest Provincial championships in Mahikeng last Saturday. The 13-year-old martial artist earned top honours in multiple categories.
She received a gold medal in the Kumite (Free Fighting) Girls Novice Brown/Black Belt division and clinched bronze in the Kata Girls Novice Purple Belt (13-year-old), followed by a silver in the Kumite Girls Novice Purple Belt category. She has been selected to represent Northwest at the upcoming National Championships.
