Iva Theron, Amélie van Staden, Boineelo Lefutswe and Nicola Olivier of The Mountain Cambridge School (MCS) were among the athletes who were invited to participate in the SACSSA Invitational athletics event. Over 1000 athletes took part in the event. “MCS is very proud of our athletes who represented the school. Congratulations to each one of them for their outstanding performances,” the school said.
Boineelo Lefutswe won the high jump. Nicola Olivier won the 3000m race. Iva Theron placed 3rd in long jump. Amélie van Staden came second in 100m, 3rd in 80m and 3rd – long jump.
