MCS Celebrates Purple Pinky Day
The Mountain Cambridge School proudly partnered with the Rotary Club of Brits-Hartbeespoort to raise awareness and funds for World Polio Day. Learners were educated on the significance of the Purple Pinky tradition, which marks children’s pinkies with purple ink in countries where polio vaccinations are administered. This mark symbolises both protection against Polio and hope for a polio-free world.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who contributed to this important cause, helping to make strides in the global fight to eradicate polio.
