MCS High School Interhouse Play Evening
A night of theatrical brilliance unfolded at The Mountain Cambridge High School’s Interhouse Play Evening, where Maxwell House emerged victorious, captivating the audience and adjudicators alike with a standout performance of ‘It’s Not Just A Change; It’s A Metamorphosis – It’s Acceptance’.

Zandri Dry, Liam Tucker, Elton Chitekedza, Ata Mokoka, Muvhusi Mahada and Izé van der Westhuizen.
Newton House delivered a strong and stirring production called ‘The Butterfly Effect’ to claim second place, while Darwin House impressed with creativity and depth, securing third with ‘Peak Potential’. All of these productions were entirely student-led, from script to stage.
“A heartfelt thanks go to our guest adjudicators Izé van der Westhuizen and Zandri Dry, whose discerning eyes and thoughtful feedback were instrumental in shaping the evening. With such high-calibre performances from all three houses, choosing a winner was no easy task. They also awarded additional nods to Darwin House for ‘Best Moment’ and Newton for ‘Best Script’ and ‘Best Dance’. ‘Best Supporting Actor’ awards were given to Ata Mokoka from Newton and Liam Tucker from Darwin. Muvhusi Mahada from Maxwell received a well-earned award for ‘Best Actor’,” the school said.
