Well-known television presenter and producer Ian Michael Warren, husband of popular actor Hannelie Warren passed away aged 77 on 31 July.
The couple has lived in Hartbeespoort for the past 30 years. Ian would be remembered as the television presenter for POP Shop and a radio DJ on Radio 5 in the beginning years of television. He was an accomplished and sought-after commercial voice artist. His television production company Warren’s World produced over 900 commercials, music videos and documentaries over the years.
Ian passed away peacefully in a frail care centre. “Despite his illness, his wicked sense of humour remained to the end, and we have the fondest memories of a crazy, fun-loving, witty and bright, loving man,” Hannelie said.
There will be a life celebration in Hartbeespoort for close friends.
