Rosina Masego Ditlhase’s body was discovered two weeks after her disappearance.

The body of a missing 14-year-old girl from Letlhabile was found last Wednesday.
Rosina Masego Ditlhase was discovered by a passer-by on Wednesday afternoon, 13 March, at Letlhakaneng Village near Brits, two weeks after she had gone missing.
According to police spokesperson Colonel Adele Myburgh the girl’s body was mutilated and in an advanced stage of decomposition. It is suspected that she may have been murdered shortly after her disappearance on 1 March.
She was last seen by her grandmother on Thursday, 1 March 2024, at about 17:30.
Letlhabile police are now investigating a murder case. Anyone who may have information that can assist the police with the murder investigation, is requested to contact the investigation officer, Detective Sergeant Kgothatso Singo on 079 5955 474.
