The Madibeng Municipality announced on Thursday that the drinking water in Schoemansville is once again safe to drink without boiling it.
“The municipality is pleased to announce that effective immediately, the boil water notice issued on 7 March has been lifted. Following extensive corrective measures, including enhanced chlorine dosing, the recent drinking water quality issue has been successfully resolved,” the municipality said.
“Residents can now safely consume tap water without boiling. We thank residents for their cooperation and understanding.”
