Hartbeespoort beauties Alisha Nel and Fransie Venter were crowned Miss Hartbeespoort 2024 and Mrs Hartbeespoort 2024 respectively during a glamorous gala evening last weekend.
“Miss and Mrs Hartbeespoort is not a beauty pageant, it is an empowerment platform for young and older women. It is not about your looks or body, it is about empowering women to be what they are,” said Marelize Landman of Hartbeespoort Pageants.
The entrants and finalists in the pageant worked with well-known personalities in the pageant world during monthly workshops from May in preparation for the final at Kremetart Bistro last week.
The first princess in the Miss Hartbeespoort pageant was Zannita Kennedy and Cassidy Kelly took third place. Zenobia Steffen is the runner-up for Mrs Hartbeespoort and Mahlatse Selala was crowned second princess.
“With these six winners we will be supporting charities such as Arms of Mercy that raise funds to help children with rare diseases and cancer get the necessary medical care,” Landman said.
