The Rotary Club of Brits-Hartbeespoort held its annual Mountain of Hope food collection drive at the Village Mall last week and collected a large amount of non-perishable food to distribute among needy families.

Roy Tolfts (Rotary Club Brits-Hartbeespoort), Anita van der Westhuizen (Dare2Share), Heleen Erasmus (Manager Village Mall) and Mike Cronje (In His Honour Foundation) with the mountain of food.

The public and Village Mall tenants such as Pick n Pay, Checkers, Mugg & Bean and Gasland made sizeable donations. The Mountain of Hope is annually organised by the Rotary Club and manned by members of the club. The food was handed over to four Rotary Interact Clubs, In His Honour Foundation and Dare To Share to distribute.
The Rotary Club’s work continues on 27 July when members will be back at Village Mall to man the Tree of Hope for donations of warm clothes. Please help and keep those less fortunate warm by donating warm clothes and blankets.
