The struggling Madibeng municipality again made the national news headlines, again for all the wrong reasons.

The Madibeng Municipality has once again come under the spotlight after a service provider alleged that the municipality had appointed two companies to do the same work of which only one was paid for services.

The DA said this week the Madibeng Executive Mayor, Cllr Douglas Maimane, tabled an unfunded and unrealistic adjustment budget that failed to address the persistent water challenges faced by residents.
